Holland boss Bert van Marwijk is convinced his team can go on to lift the World Cup after dumping favourites Brazil out of the competition.
Felipe Melo's own goal and the first headed strike of Wesley Sneijder's career saw the Dutch come from behind to edge past the Brazilians and into the semi-finals, and van Marwijk is determined that a journey upon which they set out two years ago will not end prematurely in fresh disappointment.
"I said to the Dutch Football Association two years ago that I was not going to this tournament just to take part in it," he said.
