Guy Chambily, a member of the French Football Federation's federal council, has called for a complete overhaul of the organisation following France's World Cup debacle.

On Monday FFF president Jean-Pierre Escalettes announced he would be step down on July 2 after a campaign riven with team unrest and controversy. But Chambily insists the resignation of Escalettes is not enough and the position of anyone who supported Domenech should come into question.

"It's a step, but it is not enough," Chambily said in L'Equipe. "The management team of France has been so catastrophic that everyone who supported Mr Domenech stubbornly...there is a need for careful consideration."
