Frank Lampard wants to carry on playing for England but knows there will be much debate about the future after the World Cup exit at the hands of Germany.
Lampard will be 36 by the time of the next World Cup in Brazil and the likes of Steven Gerrard, John Terry and Emile Heskey are already over 30. But the Chelsea midfielder, denied a goal when his shot had clearly crossed the line, has no intention of quitting international football.
He said: "I want to carry on with England. I think there will be a lot of talking, not just about me. It's important players go away and don't listen to it."
