Paraguay coach Gerardo Martino has made it clear that his men have to continue to work very hard if they are to be successful at the upcoming 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

"I have been to South Africa before. I think now we know what to expect. We have been preparing well for this World Cup. I believe we will be in good condition for the first game," said Martino to fifa.com.

"We will be trying to do our best to prepare for our game against Italy, which should be tough. We are aware that this is going to be a difficult tournament for everyone, but we need to work harder and make sure we qualify for the next round."

Paraguay will have to deal with Italy, Slovakia and New Zealand in the group phase of this summer's World Cup. They start the tournament with a match against Italy on June 14.
