
The United States will play Brazil in a friendly on Aug. 10 at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in the first match for the American team after the World Cup.
Brazil, a five-time world champion, has won 14 of 15 meetings between the teams. The lone American win was 1-0 in Los Angeles in February 1998 at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The U.S. Soccer Federation announced the match Friday.
