Former England and Barcelona manager Terry Venables believes Spain and Brazil are the favourites to lift the World Cup this summer.
The Englishman, while believing his home country can be contenders in South Africa, admits that the experience of winning international tournaments will give the five-time winners and the reigning European champions the edge.
He said: "Brazil know how to win these competitions and while it was the European Championships Spain won two years ago, a lot of the time, the European Championships are tougher than the World Cup because there are so many strong teams in Europe."
