The Denmark striker is full of ambition ahead of this summer's World Cup...
Denmark qualified for the 2010 World Cup by finishing ahead of Portugal and Sweden in their qualification campaign and striker Nicklas Bendtner is full of ambition ahead of this summer's tournament.
"I expect that we will go there and have a great campaign. If we don’t qualify from our group it will be a huge disappointment. What happens if we qualify for the next phase is impossible to say," said Bendtner to fifa.com.
"Judging from the match schedule, it looks as if we might play against Italy in the last 16, and to face the reigning world champions would of course be a major test for us.
"It’s important that we stay realistic. Of course we’re going there to win the tournament, but having said that, we don’t have the same means as other big countries.
"However, we’ll do our very best. Denmark have produced plenty of upsets in football history, so why not again."
