Spain have retained their place as the No 1 team, ahead of Brazil, in the latest Fifa rankings for March while Portugal have climbed up to fourth.
England have moved up two places ahead of France and Argentina.
Australia have jumped into the top 20 following their victory over Indonesia while Sven Goran Eriksson's Ivory Coast have fallen 10 places to 25th.
