Totti is not intent on spelling out where the axe will fall in relation to his Italy future...

Roma captain Francesco Totti insists he hasn't made a decision on whether he will come out of the international shadows and play for Italy at the World Cup.

Time is running out for Totti with the tournament just over two months away, but he is still taking time over pondering whether to make a u-turn on his decision to retire from the international scene three years ago.

"I have not yet decided whether I will play again for La Nazionale because I have not spoken to Marcello Lippi," he told Canal Plus.

"And we have to see how my physical form is too."

Lippi will give FIFA his final 23-man squad list for the finals on June 1.
