The 24-year-old knows performances at club level will provide him with the chance...
Sevilla winger Jesus Navas has revealed that he is itching to return to the Spain national squad.
After apparently overcoming anxiety problems Navas made his debut for La Furia Roja last November in a 2-1 friendly win over Argentina and since won a second cap and now the 24-year-old is hoping to add to that, starting with the upcoming friendly against France in Paris on March 3.
Navas has already stated his desire to be included in Vicente Del Bosque's final squad of 23 for the World Cup finals in South Africa.
"It is a pleasure to be in the national team. I really wanted to be there and I'm glad I got that call for my participation," he told AS.
"I can not wait to return, to continue to enjoy being there with all my colleagues. It is a very nice experience so I know I have to keep doing things right with Sevilla to let me get there."
